Gum bleeding during brushing or when talking occasionally happens to some of us. Sometimes we shy away from talking or smile freely, it affects our daily life unconsciously.

Is Bleeding Gums Normal?

Well, it is not normal to have gums bleeding. However, it is common as an average of 90% of the world wide population suffers from Gum disease.

Why Is It Happening?

Gum bleeding has numerous reasons.  Generally, it can be a local factor or a systemic factor. 

Local factors include:

  • Hard to clean areas
  • Plaque and tartar collection
